Bears Den Vacation Property
Our first venture into vacation property started with the purchase of a four-bedroom, two bath condo at Northern Bay Resort. We were drawn to the property by its proximity to our home, amenities for kids, and both golf and lake frontage. When we purchased the property, it was enrolled with a professional management company. We soon took over management ourselves, made small investments to increase marketability and increased annual revenue over 250% in our first year managing the property. We believe the key to success it to focus on creating memorable experiences and the rest will come naturally!
Tigers Den Vacation Property
Reservations on our first condo ended up being much higher than we could have dreamed and the only downside to this was we did not get as much time to enjoy with our family as we hoped. We started looking to purchase a second mixed use property to spend more time on the lake. We stumbled upon a unique opportunity to purchase a 4-bedroom three bath condo next to our property. This gave us the ability to rent both condos together for large groups, which only a handful of properties in the area could accommodate. We immediately took over management and increased revenue over 200% within the first six months.
Castle Rock Self Storage
Shortly after closing on land by our condo we started planning our self-storage business. We knew storage for powersports in the area was in high demand and there was a need for storage near Northern Bay Resort. We acted as the general contractor and oversaw all planning, permitting, and construction and opened for business in 2020 and are underway with expansion plans in 2021.
